Health Risk Screening
By using our screening techniques to identify health risks, we can help the patient do what is needed to effectively manage disease and reduce its effects.
Young’s “Know Risk” Health Care Services department has acquired sophisticated equipment including an ultra-sound bone densitometer, an ambulatory blood pressure monitor, the Cholestech LDX system and a clinical spirometer. We have added these to our abilities to check blood glucose, total cholesterol and body mass index.
Along with our modern equipment, we have developed a series of risk surveys for each disease state we target. Distributing these materials prior to initiating a screening will help influence individuals to participate in a baseline or follow-up wellness screening. Additional materials available include educational pamphlets, flyers, bag stuffers and posters.
Each of our screening instruments generates personalized reports. These are released directly to the client. Copies can also be provided for the patient to forward to their physician. Please contact us for more information.
